Water – Does it really help us to lose weight?

A lot of people are mostly skeptical about the fact that water can help us lose weight. As we know a large amount of our body is actually water! If we are more specific, 75% of our lean muscles are water, more than 80% of our blood is water, alone body fat and bones are actually 20% of water each! So water is very important part of our body and so our existence.

So do you still think water has nothing to do with weight loss? What to do? Do I just drink water regularly and I will lose weight?

No, of course not, drinking water alone and doing nothing else, will for sure not help you lose weight.If you want to lose those extra pounds, you have to eat right and drink right, these are two crucial components to lose weight naturally.

The major reason for extra weight are so called “BAD” fats. So instead eat “good fats”. Good fats produce so called essential fatty acids. To get good fats, you have to eat, Salmon, Mackerel, Herrings and Sardines. They are well known to help regulate blood pressure and they also prevent blood clotting and help to reduce a risk of hart failure.

And water? Where does water come in to the picture? Well, water is important for 2 major reasons, first is carving and second, it helps your liver. When we feel hungry and feel carvings for food, it usually means we are dehydrated; so if we drink a reasonable amount of water, it helps us to suppress hunger attacks. Water also helps liver in the was, when liver provides fats, it helps metabolism so it allow kidneys to cleaned and flush out waste.

Also, did you know if you drink cold water it burns extra fats and proteins that we eat? If you drink ice cold water, you will burn up to 60 calories a day! That’s because, body needs to burn around 420 calories a week to keep our body warm all the time.

So think again when you get thirsty, get a glass of ice cold water and burn those calories away!
